Thankful Thursday

"Therefore I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name." 2Sam 22:50 (NIV) I can't believe it is already July and half the year has gone by. I often take a moment as holidays approach to reflect on the way the Lord has worked in my life. I am happy to report that amazingly and in His own power, He has continued to stand beside me and at times even carried me. Through it all, I want to sing His praises and glorify Him!! He has made me who I am and I am blessed to be Refined By Him! This week I am thankful for the following:
  • My freedom in Christ
  • My freedoms that the men and women of this country have fought to protect
  • For freedoms that enable me to live out my beliefs without fear
  • My wonderful husband and his commitment to take care of our family also his willingness to serve the Lord! For following God's guiding and being the spiritual head of the household.
  • My little fella and all the joy he brings me.
  • My friends - close and far away
  • July is the month of birthdays to celebrate! - Kel Kel, Sharon, Me, Tyler, and Arkansas Mom & Dad anniversary! -- Thank you Lord for another year!
  • For my blog as it is an awesome tool to keep me close to the Lord - whether anyone reads it or not, I enjoy spending time sharing my thoughts and how the Lord speaks to me.
  • For my home and all the Lord has given me.

Have a blessed day and a wonderful 4th of July. It you have the time, pause to take in all of God's beauty and majesty!

Amen to that, Paula. Yes, we should just pause sometimes to just take in the majesty of our Lord.
