Thankful Thursday

"O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption." Psalm 130:7 (emphasis mine) I love the Word of God and how relevant it is to our lives just as it was over 2000 years ago. God often speaks to me with scripture as the one above, in which I often substitute my name or my situation with the highlighted word. In this case, it is true that if I put my hope in Him, He is my unfailing love and He is my redemption!!! Hallelujah!!!! I praise Him daily for all that He has done and provided in my life. Too often,I find that most people get caught up in giving thanks for the tangible or material things in our lives and forsake the blessings that are more valuable than anything this earth can offer. Here is my list for Thankful Thursday:
  • For my redemption in Christ!!!
  • That my hubby had a great week of spiritual enlightenment.-- He enjoyed Men of Valor this past weekend and has taken on his own journey to find God's plan for his life --( Gotta love a Man of GOD!!!!)
  • For the time, my little fella and I had at the beach on Monday
  • For my friends - Dana, Tracy, Alison, Kelly, Trish, Jenn, Sharon and more -- for all that you each bring to my life -- I love each of you and appreciate your friendship more than words can say!!
  • I was able to decorate my final cake in my class and it turned out really well -- I surprised myself -- I will post pictures later once my hubby gets them loaded onto the server (Gotta love a techy guy )
  • My church home and all the people that work to make it an inviting place for God to dwell
  • For my Lord that He has impressed a "one-woman" dramatical presentation upon my heart (now I just need the courage to perform it -- that is my prayer)
  • That my friend Kelly is happy and baby Charlie is so cute!!!
  • For my new purse that I got from the outlet mall on my way home from the beach on Monday with my little guy (thank you Honey -- Gotta love a giving guy)
  • That I get to go see Bon Jovi this Sunday night with my buddy Jenn (I know it's not spiritual but I'm truly stuck in the 80's)

Blessings to you and may you have a truly THANKFUL THURSDAY and every other day!!

So, what kinda purse did you get??

Great list! Have fun at BJ - I probably wouldn't mind seeing them - brings back those Jr. High days, huh?

I can't wait to see your cake pictures.

You have a blast with your husband at Bon Jovi! My husband and I went to see our fav Duran Duran a few months ago and loved it! You are spending time together and that is so important.

I have always wanted to take a cake decorating class. It sounds like fun!

I am so glad that you had a super time at the beach with your little one :)
I love how you have posted about your beloved - 'man of God' 'giving' and 'techy' :)
I also like how you personalize His Word :)

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.

Be blessed today and always.
