The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 15:2 (NIV) I have had a week in which I have been tested on an emotional basis. Fortunately, the chaos did not directly involve me as a participant but as an outsider looking-in. My mom had some issues with my brother and his family this past week and she leaned on me for emotional support. Plus, as with all of us, I have my own "things" I am dealing with in life. It is amazing how emotional strain is just, if not more, draining in some cases that a physical workout!! I am however blessed to know that I am NOT alone in anything that I go through. I know that my God is always there to support me and to stand with me, beside me or sometimes even carry me!! This week I am thankful for the following (and more)
- My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
- My hubby and his willingness to put up with the chaos that is my extended family
- My mom and the strength the Lord has given her to deal with far more than I could imagine handling
- My buddy - Trish for her wonderful and understanding ear -- thanks for listening and supporting
- That the Lord has given me a home to live, clothes to wear, food to eat, a family to love, a church that is alive and growing in Jesus, the ability to deal with difficulty and have a peace
- Encouragement that comes "out of the blue"
- Confirmation that the Lord sends me in so many different ways
- The rain in the afternoon
- People that amaze and inspire me to be a better person -- grow closer to Christ -- most of you don't know how you affect people in a positive way!! Keep up the good work!!
- For my sister-in-law(s) -- yep that means you Caroline and Kim!! (I heard from both of you this week!!)
- For my BFF -- Kelly and her birthday on the 6th and for Sharon on the 13th -- Remember- we're not getting older -- we're getting BETTER!!! love you both
Have a great and blessed week.

Hey Paula,
Thank God for friends and family, and your hubby to help out during trying times.
Blessings to you this TT♥
Yes, God is our refuge . . . and it is good that you were one for your mom too.
