Finally Home....

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Matthew 5:4 (NIV)
As many of us prepared dinner and ushered our children out the door to their various activities, Heaven was celebrating its newest resident. Mrs Narda Wilson went home to our Savior and was greeted by a heavenly host of angels accompanied by her sweet daughter Sophia. What a great reunion that must have been. How bittersweet it must have been for Narda to leave her loving husband and sweet son Julian to make the trip but her heart must have swelled -- with a longing to say to those of us -- I am FINALLY HOME - I WISH YOU COULD SEE WHAT I SEE! For those of us that have been privy to this family's powerful testimony and willingness to live life abundantly despite the significant losses -- the family's transparency during this process has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. I can only imagine the pain those remaining on this side of Heaven must be feeling -- a mix of happiness in knowing that she is finally home with Sophia but a heaviness that we humans crave for the physical closeness of our loved one. From the outside looking in, I have no idea how they will go on but I do know that they will. I know that God has a plan for this and a reason that this wonderful family has given so much yet continued to praise Him in the midst of tragedy. For now, Narda is Home!! Finally Home and for those of who believe -- we will see her again.. But for now, we must go on.....pray for those remaining...live to leave a legacy as she did. Dear Father - -Please be with Wilson, Julian and the rest of their immediate family. In addition, please be with her close circle of friends and the church family that has come to know this sweet family in a short time. Please use Narda's death to further Your kingdom and allow it to be a testament to Your Glory!
